Japanese YANAGIBA type knife (yanagi-ba meaning willow blade) – traditional knife intended for filleting fish. It has one sided bevel and very narrow edge ensuring clean and thin cut. Suitable for Sushi and Sashimi preparation.

With a winning blend of long-lasting performance and sharpness, sturdy material quality, and a simple design, the series offers a variety of blades that are perfect for consistent, effortless use, all at an unbeatable price point.

Basic professional line KAI WASABI BLACK with beautiful and minimalistic design achieved by polished blade and black handle. Blade is made from high quality carbon steel Daido 1K6 with a solid 58 ±1HRC hardness finished with polished metal guard. Black handle is made from polypropylene mixed with bamboo dust for natural anti-bacterial properties. This makes the knives suitable even for restaurant kitchens.

The water-resistant matte black plastic grip is extremely durable and has an oval or chestnut shape, depending on the blade size. It boasts a comfortable and natural feel due to the inclusion of bamboo powder. The handle and stainless steel blade are permanently fused together, preventing the buildup of debris.
